Daily Schedule - Thursday

We have seasonal farming demonstrations taking place daily, as well as plenty of indoor and outdoor activities.

Milking Demonstration

Learn all you need to know about the milk story with this fascinating demonstration. A member of the team will take you through the process of milking with the assistance of either a Gloucester cow or one of our Saanen or Toggenburg goats. Milking demonstrations take place at the Farm Park from April all the way through to December.

Visitors are welcome to bottle feed lambs and goat kids at Adam Henson's Cotswold Farm Park

Bottle Feeding

Shearing

Shearing Demonstration

As the weather gets warmer, it's a bit too hot for our sheep to be wearing their winter coats. Some of the primitive breeds naturally shed their wool before the summer comes, but others need a little bit of help. We will shear the sheep of their fleeces, explaining the process and how the wool and lanolin can be used afterwards.
