Frequently Asked Questions
Can I bring my dog into the Park?
Dogs are not allowed in to the park, with the exception of guide dogs. This is due to the close contact with the animals. Dogs are allowed in our new visitor centre, The Ox Shed – which includes our Shop, Cafe and Bar. You can also take them on the Wildlife Walk, which they will no doubt enjoy!
Is the Farm Park suitable for wheelchair users?
The indoor barns, visitor centre and cafe are all accessible for wheelchairs. The ‘Rare Breeds Through History’ walkway and adventure play areas however are accessed via an uneven and slightly stony path. Whilst most of our customers using electric wheelchairs manage these areas without trouble, visitors pushing chairs manually can sometimes struggle.
If you or a member of your party has reduced mobility, we would be happy to offer you one of the wheelchairs we keep on site. Please call ahead to reserve one for your visit.
