FAQs

Can I bring my dog into the Park?

Dogs are not allowed into the park, with the exception of guide dogs. This is due to the close contact with the animals. Dogs are allowed in our new visitor centre, The Ox Shed – which includes our Shop, Cafe and Bar. You can also take them on the Wildlife Walk, which they will no doubt enjoy!

Is the Farm Park suitable for wheelchair users?

The indoor barns, visitor centre and cafe are all accessible for wheelchairs. The ‘Rare Breeds Through History’ walkway and adventure play areas however are accessed via an uneven and slightly stony path. Whilst most of our customers using electric wheelchairs manage these areas without trouble, visitors pushing chairs manually can sometimes struggle.

If you or a member of your party has reduced mobility, we would be happy to offer you one of the manual wheelchairs we keep on site. Please call ahead to reserve one for your visit.

More information about Accessibility…

Is parking free?

Yes! We have a large on-site car park that is free of charge.

Are there public transport links to the Farm Park?

Unfortunately due to our rural location we are not on any public transport routes. The nearest train stations are Moreton-in-Marsh and Kingham, both are approximately 20 minutes by taxi to us.

Can I meet Adam?

Maybe! Adam has a packed schedule and is often busy with his filming commitments, talks and personal appearances. All of this on top of the responsibility of running a business and trying to spend some time with his family mean that it is very difficult to say for sure when he will be at the Farm Park to meet visitors.

He is here as often as he can be and is always happy to have a chat though, so don’t hesitate to say hello if you spot him.

Can I feed the animals?

Yes! Bags of animal snacks are available at the paysheds and shop for 60p. Animal snacks are special grass pellets that can be fed to any of our livestock that live outside.  Please do not bring your own food for the animals.

Do I need to book?

For groups of 19 or less there is no need to book in advance, however tickets are available to buy online. Online tickets are valid for 12 months and enable faster entry.

If you are coming in a group of 20 or more, please phone in advance.
