Food & Drink

The Ox Shed restaurant and the Farm Park shop are both open to the public from 9am, so you don’t even need to buy a ticket to the Farm Park to drop in and see us.

The Ox Shed

Enjoy a steaming jacket potato with a filling of your choice or feast on one of our hearty hot lunches.  We work with local suppliers wherever possible and all our quality ingredients are produced using the highest standards of farming practice and animal husbandry. Our famous succulent sausages are made from our very own Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs, reared right here at the farm (and are also available to buy from the shop). We also serve a wide range of coffees, teas and other infusions, all of which are delicious with our homemade cakes and biscuits that will melt in your mouth.

Evenings at The Ox Shed

As we now have a fabulous licensed bar (and often a gaggle of thirsty campers) on site, The Ox Shed is now open until <INSERT OPENING HOURS AND EXCLUSIONS>.

As the sun goes down and the last visitors leave the Park, locals and campers settle in at the Rare Breed Bar, where we serve ale, lager and cider, with pizza and Farm Park favourites on the menu in the café. On Saturdays, there’s often live music between 7pm and 9pm.

Dolly’s Snack Bar

(Open during busy periods)

Perfect for when you’re on the go and getting peckish. Situated in the Jumping Pillow play area, refreshments, ice creams, confectionery and cakes are all available.

Milk Churn Coffee Bar

(Open during busy periods)

A wide selection of hot and cold food including delicious sandwiches , hot pasties and sausage rolls available, together with children’s lunch boxes.

Here at the Farm Park, we take the care of the environment and sustainability very seriously. Since 2016, our Catering Manager, Louise has been making great strides in our pursuit to make ourselves as environmentally friendly as we can be. All our take-away cutlery is wooden and our napkins are made from 100% recycled paper. Our cold drink cups and straws are made from plant based PLA which is compostable; our takeaway boxes, hot drink cups and lids are also compostable. We also use eco-friendly plant starch ice cream spoons, so on a sunny day you can enjoy your favourite flavour (sort of) guilt-free!

Why Not Stay Longer?

After a fun-filled visit, when you really cannot convince the children to leave … why not stay?  Relax on our caravan and camping site, watching the sun set over the Windrush Valley.  Enjoy the peaceful surroundings as the visitors depart and the animals are returned to their overnight quarters.  Some of the rare breeds come to sleep adjacent to the caravan site so you can talk to the animals all night if you wish!
