Closure Announcement

Following our recent updates regarding the outbreak of Covid-19, Duncan and I have made the heartbreaking decision to close the Farm Park from 5pm on Friday 20th March, for the foreseeable future.

As you can imagine, this is devastating for us all. Please bear with us during these very uncertain times – we will keep you all updated in the coming weeks and months.

To all our Farm Park family – team, members, visitors and supporters from afar – take care of yourselves and your families, and we very much look forward to welcoming you all back to the Farm Park once this is behind us all.

Why are you closing?

Supporting the ongoing health and wellbeing of our visitors and staff is a priority; whilst devastated, we believe this is the responsible decision to make.

When will you be open again?

As we are living in such unprecedented times, we can’t give a clear answer to this at the moment – but we will keep in touch. If you’re not already following us on Facebook or Instagram, please do so. If you would like to receive email updates, you can sign up here.

What does this mean for members?

We will be extending all memberships by the length of time that we are closed for, once we know how long this will be.

What does this mean for those who have bought an advance ticket?

All tickets will remain valid for 12 months from the date we re-open – please keep an eye on our social media pages for updates of when this will be.

I have a group or school visit booked, what does this mean for us?

You will be contacted separately to re-arrange your booking. We will be prioritising bookings for the next 6 weeks and working through them in date order so please be patient with us.

I have a booking for the campsite, what does this mean for my stay?

Guests of the campsite will be contacted separately by email, around 6 weeks’ in advance of their stay (i.e we are currently contacting those with bookings up to 30th April, and will be doing this on a rolling basis). This will be followed up by a phone call. If you are due to stay with us from 1st June onwards, your booking remains in place and we will only be in touch if the situation changes. As you can imagine, this is a trying time for the campsite team, so please bear with us. We really appreciate your patience, understanding and continued support.

What does this mean for Fun Rides?

The Fun Rides will also be suspended until further notice. If you have booked on for the March event, we will be in touch with you to rearrange your ride for a future date. Please bear with us.

What will happen to the animals?

We know how fond of the animals our visitors are – please don’t worry about them, they will be in very safe hands. We have a dedicated farm team who look after our livestock – they will continue as usual and the welfare of the animals will continue to be a priority.

How can we help?

Firstly, if you’re asking this question at all, we thank you. It’s times like these people pull together and our Farm Park community are a tower of strength for us. The coming weeks and months will be a struggle for us financially. If you would like to help – and are in a position to do so – you can purchase Flexi tickets that are valid for 12 months or membership, which we will ensure is dated from the day of re-opening.
