We’ve come a long way in the 47 years that we’ve been open. There have been lots of great changes along the way and our latest plans are set to be the best yet.
If you’ve paid us a visit during the school holidays you will probably have noticed that we’ve out grown our current visitor centre. The shop is too cramped to browse with a buggy and the cafe is creaking at the seams during a busy lunch time.
The planned development and refurbishment is set to double the size of the shop and offer 3 times as much seating in the cafe. With panoramic views of the countryside, courtyard dining and fresh food prepared from local ingredients, the cafe will be an excellent place to pop into for lunch or a cuppa and cake.
A larger shop and more welcoming entrance area will give us much extra room to stock even more local farm produce and quality Cotswold gifts.
The existing building will be utilised in the expansion but given a new lease of life. Wider aisles and adapted seating are set to improve access for wheelchairs and make life easier for those in solo charge of a pushchair.
The work is set to run from 3rd September until February 2019. During this time our shop and cafe will still be open as usual, keep your eyes peeled for the extra signage as the access routes have changed a little.
