Closure Announcement: 16th Feb

As the weather conditions have continued to worsen we will be CLOSED on Sunday 16th February. Our on site team will ensure our livestock are kept safe and sheltered, all other team members have been asked to stay at home and stay safe. We plan to re-open again on Monday 17th Feb. Thank you for your understanding.

Closure Announcement: 9th Feb

⚠️ Closure Announcement ⚠️ As the weather warning for Gloucestershire has been updated to Amber, we will not be open tomorrow (Sunday 9th Feb). We will remain open until 5pm today (8th Feb) and will be back open on Monday 10th Feb. If you have purchased an advance ticket, this will remain valid for any future visits for the next 12 months. Our on site livestock team will be ensuring the animals are looked after and housed safely. Thank you for your understanding 😊

It’s heating up on the farm!

It’s hot. In fact it’s very hot! The summer heatwave means we’re seeing lots of sun cream, wide-brimmed hats and ice-creams around the Farm Park at the moment. There are plenty of ways for our visitors to stay cool and safe in the sun and similarly the Farm Park staff are making sure the animals are calm and comfortable too. Just like us, livestock need shade and water when the temperatures rise. In the paddocks there are shady spots which the animals will seek out for themselves as soon as the air begins to warm and their water troughs are getting topped up throughout the day. Our first Members Party was a success!

Last Friday evening, we held our first Members party. This event was exclusively for our members, but they could also bring up to 5 friends along for free. It was a great atmosphere: the sun was shining, the BBQ sizzling and acoustic guitar vocalist Drew Hall was strumming some tunes. In addition to the Farm Park being open, there were some extra activities on offer. The Farm Safari took a special detour and went behind the scenes to the Farm and there were also talks about our Rare Breeds and the history of the Farm Park.
