A Wonderful Surprise

We are proud to announce that we have won the Rural Family Business award at the Cotswold Life Family Business Awards. The Awards are now in their third year and aim to celebrate the array of family run enterprises across the Cotswolds. As you may know, the Farm Park has been in the Henson family since it began in 1971. Opened by Joe and his business partner John Neave, the Farm Park involved the entire family. An Evening with Adam

Adam brings to the stage an entertaining evening about his farming life, his TV career and the running of the Cotswold Farm Park, together with his thoughts on British Agriculture. Charity of the month for September

This month’s charity is Hearing dogs For Deaf People and has been nominated by Adam Henson, Director of Cotswold Farm Park. Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is a national charity and centre of excellence in training hearing dogs to alert deaf people to everyday household sounds and danger signals in the home, work place and in public buildings. Launched in 1982, 16,000 life changing partnerships between deaf people and hearing dogs in the UK have been created. there are currently over 750 working partnerships in the country. We began the 2014 season with a new Head Chef, Robert Fisher. Bringing with him experience of high-end restaurants and brasserie cooking, Rob has been focusing on improving quality and delivering simple home-cooked food to an excellent standard. He has implemented several changes that have contributed to the success of ‘Adam’s Kitchen’. The Specials are now changed much more frequently. I have always been passionate about animal welfare and I want the best for all of the animals in my care, including my dogs. Regular visits to the local vet are vital but there’s a lot that we can do ourselves at home to ensure our pets remain happy and well.  Checking your pet for just five minutes, once a month could help you spot potential health problems early on, avoiding discomfort for dogs and potentially hefty vet bills for you.
