CHEF

Are you passionate about great food and enjoy working in a busy environment? We are looking for a friendly, hardworking individual to join us in our newly renovated 120 seater Café in the Cotswolds.

This is a varied role within a busy environment including, but not limited to, the following tasks: preparing simply cooked dishes to a high standard, baking cakes, making soups, sandwiches etc. Previous baking skills experience would also be an advantage but training will be given.

No split shifts, working in a small and friendly team. Working 8am-5pm, 5 days per week including weekends on a rota basis.

The applicant would need to be well organised and have experience of working in a commercial kitchen environment.

Please note own transport is essential due to our rural location.

ENTERTAINMENTS & ANIMAL HOSTS – CASUAL WEEKEND/HOLIDAYS

You will be expected to deliver excellent customer service and conduct activities and demonstrations with enthusiasm and confidence in this public-facing role. You will be passionate, helpful and go out of your way to engage with our visitors, answer their questions and add value to their visit. You will ensure that the condition and cleanliness of the animal areas, along with the wellbeing of the livestock, are maintained to a consistently high standard throughout our open season. You will be expected to provide visitors with a fun and educational day out through practical demonstrations, seasonal event activities, informative discussion, hands-on experience and their safe use of our site and play equipment.

Generally, working hours will be from 08.00-17.30 although due to the nature of the business these may vary slightly.

CATERING ASSISTANTS

We are looking for fun and reliable individuals that enjoy working in a busy environment.

The role will include; running food, clearing tables, general housekeeping and helping with basic food prep. You will also be required to work on the till and/or preparing fresh coffees. Appropriate training will be provided.

The applicant must be confident, enthusiastic and willing to work as part of a busy team. Minimum age requirement of 16 and having access to your own car or reliable transport is also essential due to our rural location.

Contract type: Full and part time positions are available

Working pattern: Hours are flexible but we will particularly need cover during busy periods including weekends, bank holidays and school holidays
