The Demo Barn lets you get hands on with seasonal activities and experience them first hand.

Our visitors can’t wait for us to open each season and share in the joys of spring with the excitement of seeing a lamb being born.

Help with bottle feeding all year round, firstly with our lambs and later in the season with our eager goat kids. Demonstrations continue with shearing when the weather gets too hot for our sheep to be wearing their winter coats, and later in the year our dairy cow obliges with our milking demonstration, though she would prefer it if you practised on our wooden cows! Our Sheep History Pyramid Show offers a fascinating insight into the development of sheep breeds through the ages and the audience can participate by dressing in period costume.
