OPERATIONS MANAGER

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join the team at this exciting time. This is a new position which will require strong leadership and teamwork skills to support our teams during a phase of growth, ensuring that the quality of our offer continues to grow, that standards are maintained and improved, and that we become more efficient with our resources so that full attention can be applied to the customer experience.

MAZE MASTERS

We’re opening our brand new Maize Maze in August and are looking for natural entertainers (male or female) who can act, to take on the role of the farmer and create a fun and magical experience for all those who are brave enough to tackle the maze challenge.

You will be the host, in charge of helping people through the maze, commentating and delivering the story of little lost tractor Henry.

You must be a confident and energetic person,  with a huge sense of fun and ideally have experience in performing arts as you will be expected to speak on a microphone and adorn the Gloucestershire farmer character.

This is a very active role and will require you to be in the great outdoors for the duration of the day.

Contract type: Full/part time hours available. Work available from 26th July – September. Costume will be provided!

Working pattern: This role will be flexible and you will be needed to cover our busy periods including weekends, bank holidays and school holidays

RETAIL/ ADMISSIONS ASSISTANT

A part-time position has become available.  You will ideally have some knowledge of EPOS till systems but full training can be given. You will need to be able to work in both admissions and retail areas, but also willing to assist in other areas of the company. Great customer service skills and enthusiasm for the business is a must. You will be required to work during school holidays and busy periods.

Contract type: This is a seasonal, part time role (primarily for the summer months), with the possibility of work later in the year during busier periods e.g. Christmas

Working pattern: This role will be flexible and you will be needed to cover our busy periods including weekends, bank holidays and school holidays

COMMIS CHEF

We are looking for a keen and dedicated commis chef with previous experience of at least 2 years in a busy catering environment. The role will include fresh food preparation, baking and food service. The candidate will be provided with full training but will be required to run the kitchen in the absence of the head chef, overseeing a kitchen assistant and managing full service of up to 200 hot meals. You should also be aware of the current FSA and COSSH regulations.

Experience of stock control and ordering would be an advantage. The successful candidate will be required to work alone and as part of a team and able to make quick yet safe decisions, whilst liaising with Front of House staff and management.

Contract type: This is a full season (March-December), part time role

Working pattern: 5 days a week, including regular weekends

CATERING ASSISTANT

We are looking for fun and reliable individuals that enjoy working as part of a busy team. The role will include preparing and serving fresh food, clearing tables, general house-keeping, and excellent customer service skills. You must be confident and enthusiastic; the role may include working alone in a kiosk or as part of a team in the busy restaurant.

Contract type: Various full and part time positions are available

Working pattern: Hours are flexible but we will particularly need cover during busy periods including weekends, bank holidays and school holidays

FULL OR PART TIME, SEASONAL CLEANER

We are seeking an enthusiastic addition to our site cleaning team. The role is varied, covering a large outdoor site (come rain or shine!) and ensuring that every area, from our toilets to our picnic areas, are cleaned and maintained to a high standard throughout the day. You will also be required to liaise with other departments and our suppliers to keep stock levels of cleaning products maintained. This role may be combined with part time work in other areas of the Farm Park, so basic maintenance/groundcare skills would be desirable.

Contract type: This is a seasonal role (March-December) and we will consider both full time and part time applications.

Working pattern: At least 2 days a week, one of which must be a Saturday
